HONOUR FOR SCIENTIST

STOCKHOLM, October 28. Dr. Lisa Meitner, the Austrian refugee scientist who was one of the originators of atomic fission research 'arid who escaped from Germany, has recommenced, work at the Nobel Institute m Sweden. She has been elected a foreign member of the Swedish Academy of Science. She is the third woman to receive that honour in 200 years.
