Advice from Hawaii states that Professor Peter H. Buck (Te Rangihiroa), director of the Bernice P. Bishop Museum, is now engaged on a study of Hawaiian arts and crafts similar to his recently-published work on the Cook Islands. His study of Hawaiian material was interrupted by an invitation from a research committee in Washington make an appraisal" of anthropological work in the Polynesian areas, and he recently visited Fiji and other centres.
