Two charges oi offering apples for sale at prices above those fixed by the Price Tribunal were preferred against Wong Too, fruiterer, of Petone, when he appeared in the Petone Court this morning before Mr. A. M. Goulding. S.M. Prosecuting on behalf of the Price Tribunal, Mr. W. R Birks said that the defendant had offered Dunn's and Ballarat apples for sale at 3Jd per, lb. or id in excess of the standard price. The defendant pleaded guilty and was convicted and fined £5 with costs on each charge.
