NYLON STOCKINGS COMING
LONDON. September 11. Limited supplies of nylon yarn have been released for'the manufacture of civilian goods. Nylon hitherto had been utilised for the manufacture of parachute fabrics and cords. The cessation of these requirements has enabled the Board of Trade and the Ministry of Supply to release to the silk industries limited supplies, a proportion of which will be used for hosiery.
