LEGAL APPOINTMENT
LONDON, September 11. Mr. D. P; Blades, K.C., has been appointed Solicitor-General for Scotland. The appointment is non-political. He will not have a seat in Parliament and will not participate in framing policy.
Mr. Blades, who is 57, has been Sheriff of- Perth and Angus since 1934.
