SONG AND VIOLIN RECITAL
A recital of unusual interest will be presented in the Town Hall Conceit Chamber oa Wednesday, September 19, by Molly Atkinson, contralto, and her associate artist, Vincent Aspey, violinist. The programme includes Dvorak's "Biblican Songs," an old Italian group, a Lieder group, as well as Russian, Scandinavian, and modern art songs. Vincent Aspey's items include two movements from Lalo's brilliant "Symphonic Espagnole," two "Slavonic Dances" (Dvorak-Kreisler), and Sarasate's "Romanza Andaluza." The accompanists are Jean Aspey and Clement Howe. The box plan opens at the D.I.C. on Monday next.
