RUMANIAN REGIME
OPPONENTS ATTACKED
I Rec. 11 a.m. LONDON, September, 5. The Rumanian Government, in a communique quoted by Moscow radio, attacked Juliu Maniu and Bratianu, the leaders of the Peasant and Liberal Parties respectively, declaring that they had lost contact with the realities of Rumania's present political life. They had endeavoured artificially to provoke a Government crisis, sow discord between the- Government and the people, and also between the Government and King Michael by recommending Michael to take actions harmful to -the national interest and the Crown. The Government was resolved to fight to the, end against the antinational and' anti-democratic activities of the Fascists and their supporters. Such activities endangered the Government's achievements and also endangered internationalconcord.
