FINLAND'S FOOD NEEDS
Rec. 9 a.m. HELSINKI. September 5. Finland must import 250,000 tons of cereals from Russia to maintain the present ration level, announced Mr. Arvo Lehtinen. general secretary oi the Finnish Ministry of Supply. He added: "The Finns cannot expect improvement in their meagre rations until the autumn of 1946. Hard frosts have destroyed the greater part of the northern Finland potato crop»"
