WEDDINGS AND ENGAGEMENT
OC. LONDON, August 22. The marriage will take place on September 5 of Captain Garry O. Evers-Swindell, 2nd N.Z.E.F., second son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Evers-Swmdell, Lower Hutt, and Patience, widow of Lieut.-Commander H. Westacott, R.N., Camberley, Surrey. ■ The engagement is announced between Surgeon • Lieut.-Commander Hugh George Singer, R.N., eldest son of Dr. and Mrs. A. L. Singer, of Gisborne, and Cynthia, second daughter of Mi*, and Mrs. I. Evans, Ton Kenfig, Glamorgan. Flight Lieutenant John David Grubb, D.F.C., R.N.Z.A.F., of Heretaunga, Wellington, and Sergeant Dorothy M. Heath, W.A.A.F., of Guildford, were married recently in England. ' The wedding took place recently at Edgeware Road Presbyterian Church, of Lieutenant (A) lan Mackenzie-Wil-liamson, R.N.Z.N.V.R., and. Margaretha Van Duyn, W.R.N.S. The wedding of Mr. Charles A. P. Johnstone, N.Z:E.F., of Wellington, and Miss Valeric F. Wilson, of Northwood Hills, Middlesex, also took place recently.
