P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. Conditions for the Combined Taranaki and Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Clubs' Annual Meeting today were about as wretched as they could be, with a strong wind and rain sweeping across the course and into the stands. The track quickly became drenched after it had dried out well during the week. Results:— Hack and Hunters' Hurdles, £175; 1J miles and 100 yards.—B-8 Bettermusk, 9.0 (W. Skiffington), 1; 5-6 Spiro, •9.0 (F. Buchanan), 2; 3-3 Political Boy, 9.2 (S. Waddell), 3. Scr: Peter's Choice, Bunsby, Liberation. Five lengths; three lengths. Time, 3.10. Waihi Hack Handicap, £185; 7 furlongs.—Bueno, 8.9, 1; Young Trent, 8.9, 2; Silver Pal, 8.0, 3. Scr: Sir Bian, Mr.. Cute, Well Armed, Kilarney Boy.
