SITUATION IN INDO-CHINA

LONDON, August 29. A French expeditionary force of 8000 men which has been waiting in Madagascar to proceed to French Indo-Chma has been ordered to stand by and be prepared to embark early in September, says Reuters Paris correspondent. The first contingent of 4500 men is expected to sail almost immediately. Saigon radio says that the Annam provisional executive committee has decreed martial law and a curfew m Cochin-China and southern Indo-China. It adds that a revolutionary army _ is being formed in an attempt to mamtain the independence of Annam from the French.
