BID TO END MEAT FAMINE
NEW YORK, May 19. A revised meat programme, under which the United States Government will pay subsidies on high-grade cattle in an effort to end the nation-wide meat famine and break the black market has been announced by the War Mobilisation Director, Mr^Vinson.
