POLISH DAY

MESSAGE FROM N.Z

The Acting Prime Minister (Mr. Nash) has sent the following message to the Prime Minister of Poland at London: —

"On Poland's National Day," which falls on the eve of the liberation of Europe from the Nazi aggressor, New Zealanders remember how great has been the contribution of the people of Poland towards the freeing of their country and of mankind. No nation has been more- single-minded nor steadfast. On behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand I extend through you to Poles everywhere our deep good will."
