A FLORAL CARPET

ON VIEW TOMORROW

A floral carpet, made entirely of cut flowers by members of the Wellington branches of the New Zealand Townswomen's Guilds (Inc.), will be one of the principal features of the Wellington Horticultural Society's midsummer show, to be held in the Town Hall Concert Chamber tomorrow. This novel display of floral handwork will be opened by the Mayoress at 2.30, and to enable workers and students to see it, will be on view until 10 p.m. Proceeds will be in aid of Dr. Barnardo's Homes, many of which have 'leen damaged by bombs.
