CPL. G. B. IRONSIDE
Corporal George Bruce Ironside, reported killed on active service in Italy, was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Ironside, of Wellington. Corporal Ironside joined the Army at the commencement of the war and saw service in Fiji and subsequently in New Caledonia, Vella Lavella, and Nissan Island, where he was wounded in, February, 1944.
