MAY TIE UP MANY VEHICLES

LONDON, December 5. General Eisenhower announced today that the American armies on the Western Front are facing a shortage of tyres, threatening to tie up 10 per cent, of all American army vehicles. He appealed to everyone to make the utmost possible use of their existing tyres.
