MR. JORDAN RETURNS

LONDON, Dec. 5,

The High Commissioner for New. Zealand. Mr. W. J. Jordan, returned to London on December 4 after a fourday visit to New Zealanders serving in Belgium and Holland, during which he met the air and ground crews of three New Zealand fighter squadrons operating over and beyond the British sector of the Allied -inc. Mr. Jordan watched one squadron, flying Spitfires, take off for a dive-bombing attack against the German lines of communication, inspected scenes of fierce fighting in Holland, and also visited the Nazi concentration camp at Hertogenbosch. Air Commodore E. G. Olson, commander of the R.N.Z.A.F. headquarters in Britain, accompanied him on the tour.
