NEW ZEALAND AIRMAN

Flying Officer Francis H. Greenaway has been made a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, according to advice received from London,by the Air Department. Flying Officer Greenaway jonied the E.N.Z.A.F. in March, 1941. He is 35 years of age and was educated at Wellington College, later qualifying, as an accountant. He has been serving in the European war theatre as' a navigator^

A brother, Wing Commander A. B. Greenaway, is also serving in 'the R.N.Z.A.F. Flying Officer Greenaway's mother of Mrs. W. M. Greenaway, c/o W. Bell, 7a Herbert Street, Gladstone, Invercargill.
