PRODUCE FROM SPAIN

MADRID, November 22. It is announced that Britain is buying 3,500,000 cases of sweet oranges totalling 185,000 tons from Spain. Shipment will commence in December.

This is Britain's largest fruit order from Spain during the war. Britain is also purchasing from Spain 250,000 cases of bitter oranges, 250,000 case*? of onions, and 6000 tons of sardines. The total value of these four contracts is over £5.000.000 sterling.
