KARORI FLOWER SHOW
The first show of the season was held by the Karori Horticultural Society on Saturday. The president ' (Mr. W. H. Stevens) referred to the growth of membership. i The show was opened by the Mayor (Mr. Appleton), who . congratulateid the committee on the1 display, and commented on the splendid work mr the children's section and oh the arrangement of the stall by the gardening circle of the Townswomen's Guild. The champion blooms in the daffodil sections were shown by Mr: L. A.' v Kenny and Miss M. R. Wright. The polyanthus trophy was won by Mrs. M. B. Veitch.: .
