This afternoon their Excellencies the Governor-General and Lady Newall, attended by Major H. A. Jaffray, were present at the New Zealand versus New Zealand Services Rugby football match at Athletic Park.
This evening their Excellencies, attended by Flight Lieutenant H. A. Eaton, were present at the concert.in the Town Hall given by the pupils of the Hutt Valley Memorial Technical College.

This morning their Excellencies, attended by Major H ; A. Jaffray, were present at the Girl Guide Church Parade at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul.
Mr. C. Sinel, vice-president of the Auckland Manufacturers' Association, and Mr. A. F. T. Chorlton, secretary, aire in Wellington on conferences in connection with association business.
