P.A. AUCKLAND, This Day. The Syn9d of the Diocese of Waiapu will meet in Napier on October 10 for the purpose of electing a successor to Bishop Gerard, who resigned early this year to take up the work of chaplaingeneral with the New Zealand Forces in the Pacific.
