RUGBY SELECTIONS
SERVICES V. WELLINGTON
From the array of talent offering I for the special Rugby football match, Services v. Wellington, to be played at Athletic Park on Monday as a King's Birthday holiday event, two attractive sides have been selected. The representation covers a wide field; most of the players have figured in interprovincial football, and the selection also includes players who have distinguished themselves as New Zealand representatives. The teams are:— Services. —Full-back, T. C. Morrison (Army); three-quarters, C. Tucker (Army), B. W. Davis (Army), J. Grigg (Seatoun Army); five-eighths, T. Jaffray (Navy), M. Paewai (Army); halfback, E. W. Tindill (Army), captain; forwards, R. T. Neal (Air Force), A. Dellamore (Army), A. Marshall (Navy), A. C. McLean (Navy), F. J. Green (Army), vice-captain, J. Lyons (Seatoun Army), S. W. Judd (Navy), C. C. McDonald (Army). Emergencies: Backs, A. Cochrane (Army), W. Coady and Morice (Seatoun Army), L. T. Slater (Navy); forwards, L.
