INDIA'S WAR EFFORT
NEW DELHI, May 24. Reviewing India's war effort during the past four years, the Government of India states that in the last three or four months it has doubled or trebled. The army now totals 2,000,000 men. The personnel of the Indian navy- has increased tenfold compared with the pre-war total, and the air force has expanded to an unparalleled extervt^^^^___
