The Pacific Fleet communique says that navy search Venturas on Sunday evening bombed Para--1 mushiro, encountering heavy anti-air-craft fire in some areas. All our planes returned. Army Liberators, Mitchells, Dau'ntlesses, and Warhawks, and navy ;Venturas and Hellcats on Monday dropped thirty-one tons of bombs on four enemy positions in the Eastern .Marshalls, hitting airfields arid starting . fires. Several of our planes were damaged by anti-aircraft fire, but all returned. -'
