RETURNED MEN WELCOMED
Recently, at St. Anne's Hall,, Northland, the Returned Services' Association (women's section) at Northland gave a welcome to men returned to the Dominion on furlough. In spite of the' bad weather the hall was crowded to capacity. v The guests were welcomed on behalf of the residents by Mr. McQueen, who acted as master of ceremonies. (An excellent musical and elocutionary programme was given by Miss Dorothy Downing, Miss Kathleen Fuller, and Mrs. Cumber. •
