"Moscow's rejection of the United States offer of mediation in the matter of the Russo-Polish frontier is not regarded in Washington as closing the door completely," says the "New York Times" correspondent. "On the contrary, it is believed that the Kremlin is still thinking in terms of the Moscow and Teheran conferences. The United States intends to continue working for collaboration of the Powers in the post-war world and will treat the setback as temporary and in a spirit of patience and good i will."
