GIRLS' LIFE BRIGADE
The Dominion conference of the Girls' Life Brigade opened this morning in the Berhampore Presbyterian Boys' Home, and is to conclude on Monday. The brigade, which is a "younger sister" of the Boys' Brigade and has similar objects, was formed ten years ago. It now consists of 149 companies, of which 38 were formed in 1943, and a total membership of just under 5000.
