WEDDING

KOFOED—GUNN,

The Cathedral Church of St. Paul was the scene of a pretty wedding recently when Pamela Joy, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Gunn, •was married to Flying Officer Graham "Kofoed, Royal New Zealand Air Force, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Kofoed, Khandallah, by the Rev. Canon D. J. Davies. . The bride's beautiful gown of parchment satin was worn with a cream silk net veil appliqued with satin lilies and held in place with a top-knot of orange blossom. She carried an armlet of Christmas, lilies. Her bridesmaids, Miss Betty Booth, and her sister Diana, and Piri Preston as flower girl, wore lovely frocks of pale blue organdie and carried bouquets of pale blue delphiniums and pink carnations with head-dresses of the same flowers. Lieutenant Tim Gill was best man and Flying Officer Leon Mitchell groomsman. Mr. Bryce Gunn acted as usher. During the signing of the register Master Campbell FranklinBrowne sang, "I Will Sing of Thy Great Mercies." , The reception was held at the bride s residence in Hobson Crescent, where guests were received by Mrs. Gunn, assisted by Mrs. Kofoed. . The young couple are making their home in Blenheim, where the bridegroom is stationed.
