FIGHTING GERMAN ARMOUR Rec. 9 a.m. LONDON, December 17
The Italians made a handsome comeback in fighting with the Americans, reports the British United Press correspondent with the Fifth Army. The Italians helped to capture a hill. in the German winter line. They fought for hours against really tough opposition from German panzer units, and engaged in hand-to-hand fighting against the enemy.
