ARMISTICE DAY

As in past years, there will be a short Armistice Day service at the Wellington Citizens' War Memorial tomorrow. Returned "servicemen will parade at the memorial at 10.55 a.m., and a wreath will be placed in memory of the fallen, after the playing of the "Last Post" and the observance of the two njinutes' silence.

A special service will be' held in the first-floor lobby of the Dominion Farmers' Institute building, starting at 10.40 a.m. Mr. Leslie Lefeaux will preside and the Rev. H. W. Newell will, give an address. < CARILLON RECITAL.

A recital, by automatic player, will be given on the National War Memorial' Carillon, Buckle Street, at 12.15 p.m., when the following programme, will be played:—Changes on ten bells; hymn, "For All the Saints"; "The Ash Grove"; hymn, "God of Our Fathers"; "The Harp that Once Through Tara's Halls"; "Au Clair de la Lune" (French folk tune); "The Minstrel Boy"; "Reo Wairua" (the five-ton Bourdon bell) sounded seven times; "God Defend New Zealand," and. the National. ■Anthem, ■ , , ■ •
