PLIMMERTON BOWLING CLUB
The Plimmerton Bowling Club 1 opened its season last Saturday. Unfavourable weather prevented play taking place, beyond the jack being thrown by Mrs. E. A. Anderson (wife of the honorary secretary), and the first bowl being delivered by Mr. H. Blake, life member. Mr. W. Wiggs, president, in welcoming the large attendance, said the club had now close on 50 members. Mr. Tom Lock, the club's centre delegate* presented a flag, made by Mrs. Anderson, showing the club's colours and monogram.
