RELIGION IN SCHOOLS
itec. 11 a.m. RUGBY, October 7. The President of the Board' of Education, Mr. R. A. Butler, said in London today that a deputation from the ■Free and Anglican churches had asked him to insert in the Government's education plan provision for religious instruction. He said the Government .proposed to include in the plan provision for religious training as an alternative subject in obtaining a certificate and intended to find a der finite place for religious teaching and religious expression in every school. — 8.0.W. ____________„
