"THE POST'S" SERVICE
Complete arrangements have been made for the promptest possible announcement of the election results at the office of the "Evening Post." The large display board in Willis Street — a familiar spectacle at election times—will show the progress returns as fast as they are received, and it will be possible for them to be seen by a very large crowd, which will have the full use of Willis Street and Mercer Street. In conjunction with the display board, a highly efficient public address system is being installed. People are specially asked to refrain from telephoning "The Post" for election results, as the telephone service will be fully occupied with receiving results as they become available. As on past election nights, party leaders who are in the city and Wellington candidates will visit the "Evening Post" and will be able to use the public address system to speak from, the balcony.
