DICKENS FELLOWSHIP

The recent meeting of the Dickens Fellowship was very enjoyable, an.excellent programme of selections from the Pickwick Papers being presented by Miss McKenzie, who had gathered a clever band of performers round her. Mr W. D. Charlton presented an original item, "Mr. Micawber in the 20tn Century." The musical portion comprised violin solos by Mr. Graham Johnstone, and songs by Miss Veronica Bell, with Mrs. Wakelin ■ as accompanist. Mrs. Cruttenden announced that 14 soldiers' parcels had been sent away during the previous month and she reniinded members of the 'box for patriotic funds.
