UNUSUAL ACCIDENT

LONDON, July 20,

An R.A.F. plane which had been abandoned in mid-air by its crew over Anglesey after catching fire, struck a car near Holyhead in which a local doctor, his wife, and his mother-in-law were travelling. The two women were fatally injured and the doctor was seriously injured and died later in hospital. The plane's crew bailed out andlanded safely.
