INDEPENDENCE DAY AT V.M.C.A.
The, offfter commanding' the ' U.S.' Marine Corps in New Zealand, officers representative of all sections of the Ameiican forces, U.S. nurses, and a party of 100, marines, and a like number of members of the New Zealand forces, will be the guests of-the V.M.C.A tomorrow at an Independence Day function commencing at 5.30 p.m. Among other guests will be the Prime Minister (Mr.. .Fraser). the Minister of Finance (Mr Nash). Mr. A. Hamilton, and Mr. - J Heerian. Under-Secretary Cor Internal Affairs. Items, will be given, by Ray Baber, U.SIM.C, and the 2YA Concert Party.
