THE ROYAL CHORAL UNION.
' iAt the Technical College Hall at 8 o'clock tonight the Royal Wellington, Choral Union, under ttie direction of Mr. Stanley Oliver, will present a programme of Russian music of the ihighest quality. The choir will be heard in "Moussorgsky'B "Joshua," the Choral Dances from "Prince Igor," and the Coronation Scene from'-'Boris Godounov." In addition,, to those ieautiful works, the-.'chorus'will present two unaccompanied Russ|an; motets (with soprano O-bHgato by Miss Evelyn Ledger) and will also toe "'-'heard in Bach's "Peasant Cantata." The soloists will -_c Miss Rena Edwards, of Auckland ;(soprano), and Mr. Ken Macauley (baritone).'- Miss,Edward3 will sing a bracket of aonjjs by Borodin and Moussorgsky. The doors will open at 7.15 and the performance will conciude. about 10.15.; of the National Beekeepers' Association at the annual conference yesterday f :._vPresident,-Mr. E. A.
