MR. DE VALERA
PRIME MINISTER AGAIN

LONDON, July 1
The Dail re-elected Mr. de Valera Prime Minister of Eire by 67 votes to 37. Mr. Norton, the Labour leader, announced that his party was not prepared to vote for either Mr. de Valera or Mr. Cosgrave for Prime Minister. Mr. fle Valera stated that he did not favour a coalition because he did not believe a coalition to be wox-kable.
ADULTERY OF A PEER

LONDON, July 1.
Harry Newman, club steward, was granted a decree nisi with costs and £500 damages against his wife Pauline, who, giving evidence in French, admitted adultery with Lord Grantley, aged 87, who was named as co-respon-dent.
The steward's wife is 35. Lord Grantley has been in the Lords longer than any other peei\ He has been twice married, and has a son and two daughters by his first wife. His second wife died last May. '
