Rec. 10 a.m. SYDNEY, June 28. In an effort to join her husband, a beautiful 'Frenchwoman and her baby have fallen into Japanese hands. .'The woman,'-Mrs. Gabrielle Lyon, and her baby were evacuated to Australia before the fall of Malaya. For months she had no word of her husband, Captain lan Lyon, of the British Army, who wasserving in Malaya. Then she received a cable ,stating that he had escaped into India. Against advice, Mrs. Lyori boarded a ship to join him. The ship was captured by Japanese in the Indian Ocean. A few weeks later Captain Lyon arrived at Perth looichig for his wife and baby.
