DISSOLUTION SOON

ELECTION IN AUGUST? LONDON, June 24. The Australian political controversy came to a head today when the Prime Minister, Mr. J. Curtin, told the House of Representatives that he would seek a dissolution after the Supply Bill and other measures had been passed. It is thought that the election may be in August. Mri Curtin's announcement took members by surprise. A correspondent says that Mr. Curtin's decision is welcomed by all parties.
