SENSE OF SECURITY
"So far we have been lucky in not having had any qualms about the fate of that window," remarked Mr. Justice Blair at the Wellington College Old Boys' Association meeting this week in reporting upon the steps taken as a war measure for the protection of the valuable war memorial window at the college. "It looks now as though that window is going to remain there, and you see," he added significantly, "General Freyberg himself is here to look after that window." Actually, Lieut.-General Sir Bernard Freyberg, who is an old boy of the college, was not present at the meeting, but it was reported that the association had communicated its heartiest welcome to him on his present visit to Wellington.
