I CORVART—BIGGS. I Mr. and Mrs." M. L. Biggs, Johnsonville, have pleasure in announcing the engagement of their only daughter, Lesley Alison, to William Franklin, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs.'-L. V. Corvart, Ethelsville, Alabama, U.S.A. HURST—WHITE. The engagement is announced of Erna Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. White, Monck's Bay, Christchurch, to Frank, second son of Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Hurst, Nelson. MILLS—BREMNER. The engagement is announced and the wedding will shortly take place of Edna Iris, third daughter of Mrs. G. Bremner and the late Mr. G. Bremner, of Tauranga, to Alan John, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mills, of Silverstream. PIPER—SHARP. The engagement is announced between Betty, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Sharp, Wairoa, , Hawke's Bay, and Wensley Piper, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. H. VV. Piper, Brisbane, Australia.
