U.S. AND ARGENTINA

(Rec. 2 p.m.) WASHINGTON, June 11. The Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, stated that the United States was collaborating with the other American Governments in connection with the recognition of the new Argentine Government, but that each American Government acted on its own initiative. Asked whether he expected any change in Argentina's neutrality policy, Mr. Hull replied that nothing of that nature had been discussed either directly or indirectly. Mr. Hull said that recognition was merely a routine matter.
