GANDHI'S CONDITION

(Rec. 11.15 a.m.) BOMBAY, Feb. 15

A medical bulletin states that Gandhi is finding some difficulty in taking water. He was rather restless yesterday, and his condition has shown some deterioration.

The Council of State at New Delhi talked out motions for the adjournment relating to Gandhi's fast. Mr. Jinn ah, president of the Indian Moslem League, in a letter to Mr. Rajagopalachari, the Madras Hindu leader, intimated his inability to join the proposed conference to discuss the situation as a result of Gandhi's fast, and added that the situation was a matter for the Hindu leaders.
