FRENCH RELATIONSHIPS
(Rec. noon.) CAIRO, Feb. 15. After the arrival of General Catroux from talks with General Giraud at Algiers, Fighting French officials stated that several months probably would elapse before an entente between General Giraud and General de Gaulle was concluded.
General Catroux was completely satisfied with talks which occurred as between one French patriot and another. General Giraud was most anxious to reach an understanding with the Fighting French and unite all Frenchmen against the Nazis. Progress is. being made slowly but surely and in the right direction, but the necessity of working out details prevents a prompt agreement.
