"Disappointed Soldier's Wife" and H. E. Brooker write protesting against what the former terms "largescale sports programmes" on Sunday. The latter correspondent submits that it is inconsistent for the authorities who recently requested Wellington citizens to observe a day of prayer for victory now to sanction such use of Sunday.
