HOSPITAL BOMBED

WORK OF NAZI LONE RAIDER

(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 15. At least six persons were killed and a number injured when a single raider bombed and machine-gunned a small east coast town this afternoon. A hospital was partly demolished, necessitating the evacuation of the patients, and another building was directly hit. For some hours rescuers were digging out those trapped in the ruins. A few enemy fighters later flew over the coast of south-east England where two people were injured. Our fighters destroyed one raider and damaged others. One of our fighters is missing.—P.A. and 8.0.
