A few of the service clubs held Christmas parties at the weekend, but the majority are still busy making preparations for their Yuletide festivities All the clubs Sre entertaining increasingly large crowds. The A.N.A. cafeteria is kept busy from morning until late at night throughout the week, and the mid-week dances are as popular as those held at the weekend. There were Christmas decorations, including a Christmas tree and mistletoe. A variety of floor shows were presented, and, after the distribution of gifts, Christmas carols were sung. These girls were all pupils of Miss Estelle Beere Another very popular performer was Peter Rowell, who, dressed as a British1 jack tar, sang and danced A number of people who gave the club assistance were entertained as guests of honour.
