ACCIDENTS
In a collision between the motorcycle he was riding and a motor-truck at the intersection of Bay Road and Seatoun Road shortly before 7.30 a.m. today, Mr. R. H: D. Mitchell, of 49 Tauhinu Road, a machinist, received an injury to his back and his left leg. When the fire blew back in a locomotive last night, Mr. W. R. Sherlock, of 45 Ghuznee Street, a fireman, had his left hand burnt.
Two Maoris of Raumati South, Mr R. Fielding and Mr. J. Noanoa, were scalded on the hands, face, and body through the bursting of the radiator of a car which overturned while they and others were travelling in it yesterday morning near Paekakariki.
Head injuries and concussion were suffered by Mr. F. Rennie, a waterside worker, who resides at the Wellington Hotel, when he fell between a ship and the Pipitea Wharf on Saturday night. In each case the Free Ambulance took the injured men to hospital.
